Hi, I’m Nikki May

My pictures are created with love, passion and dedication. My goal with every photo I take is for you to “feel” something from it.

Early on

I started with photography 6 years ago after several years in front of the camera as a fashion model in Los Angeles, California. I found photography to be an undeniable passion of mine. I also found it to be very healing for me. I love shooting nature! A beautiful flower, a roaring sea, a pathway of trees or a smiling dog. Those are the things I find beauty in and love to photograph.

Current

I am a strong advocate for domestic violence. It is a cause very near and dear to me, as I am also a survivor. I am currently creating a book titled “Bloom: Voices Of Domestic Violence” I chose this title because to me a bloomed flower; vibrant, beautiful, strong and full of growth represents a survivor of domestic violence. I’m excited to be able to mesh my love for flower photography and my passion for stopping violence against women. I am also very passionate about rescuing abused animals. For the last 16 years I have rescued the worst case abused dogs, the ones no one else wanted. My goal is to have a portion of every sale of my work go towards fighting domestic violence and animal rescue.
